Geneviève Claisse (born 1935) is a French artist known for her contributions to the field of geometric abstraction. Born in Quiévy, France, Claisse comes from a family of artists, with her father and grandfather both being painters. She studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Lille, France, and later moved to Paris to pursue her artistic career.
 
Claisse's artistic practice is characterized by vibrant colors, bold shapes, and a meticulous attention to detail.
