Biography:
Cacciola was born in Arenzano (Genoa) in 1945. His first solo exhibition was held in 1971 at Galleria La Bertesca in Turin. In June 1975 he took part in the show Analytische Malerei – Analytic Painting curated by Klaus Honnef and Catherine Millet and in 1977 participated in Documenta 6 in Kassel.
Starting from 1979, he started exhibiting overseas, including Washington, D.C., Mexico City and Panama City and in 1982 participated in the exhibition Short Memory Painting at the Palazzo della Permanente in Milan. Cacciola lives and works in Rocca Grimalda (Piedmont).
